Setup New Dialup Connection
For use with Windows 2000
1. Click on 'Start' Menu and go to Settings > Network and Dial-up Connections.
2. Double-click the 'Make New Connection' icon.
3. On the Welcome Screen, Click 'Next'.
4. Under Network Connection Type, tick 'Dial-up to the Internet' and Click Next.
5. The Internet Connection Wizard should start. Select the option for 'I want to set up my
Internet Connection manually..' and Click Next.
6. Select 'I connect through a phone line and modem' and Click Next.
7. Enter your local area code in the box provided. Select the number to dial from this list and enter
into the Telephone Number Box. The Country setting should be set to Ireland. Click Next.
8. Enter the username and password listed here and Click Next.
Username = elive@elivefree.net
Password = elive
9. One the next Screen, simply click 'Next'. When asked to setup an Internet Mail Account,
select 'No' and Click Next.
10. One the next Screen, simply click 'Finish' You will now return to the 'Network and
Dial-Up Networking' Window with the connection you just crested listed. Double Click on this connection.
11. Verify the details as shown above.
Username = elive@elivefree.net
Password = elive
8. Click the Dial button to connect to Elivefree.
