Change your Access Number
For use with Xwindows*
1. From the gnome desktop, click on the gnome button on
the system menu
2. Choose ->Internet -> Dialup Configuration tool
3. Enter the root password when asked

4. In the 'Internet Connections' box select the 'Accounts' tab
and click on 'Add' on the right-hand side

5. Click 'Next' in the 'Create a new Internet Connection' box

6. Into the 'Phone Number and Name' box enter:
elive into the 'Account name' box and enter a local number suitable for
your location into the 'Phone Number' box and click 'Next'
7. You are now asked to enter a username and password, for this
enter the following and click 'Next'
User name: elive@elivefree.net
Password: elive
(note: For wvdial users who are not permitted to enter a blank
password we have provided the above password to make things a little
easier for you)

8. From the 'Other Options' box highlight 'Normal ISP' from the
Account List and click 'Next'

9. You will now be presented with a summary of what you have entered,
for security the password is not displayed on-screen, once you
are satisfied click 'Finish'

10. You will now see your elive account successfully created in the
'Internet Connections' box
