The Scanning Server scans and classes your emails. Based on various criteria it will mark a mail as clean, Spam or perhaps Virus content.
You will see below some examples as to why a mail could be stopped as being spam.
It often happens that clients contact us as they feel that a legitimate recipient has been stopped unnecessarily by the server.
To decifer why a mail was stopped as spam, you will find a spam report highlighting reasons for being stopped once logged into your Scanning Interface.
**Remember: You can White-List and Black-List any email addresses simply by logging into your Scanning Interface. (Logging into Scanning Interface)
Why Mails are Classed as Spam
Examples:
- No Subject line
- Html links within the email
- Sent from a black-listed IP address
- Forged mail pretending to be from someone it is not
- Looks like unsolicited email content
