IE Registry celebrates 25 years with launch of 25 day Charity initiative
The .ie Domain Registry celebrate 25 years in business, and has marked the occasion with a 25 day initiative, ‘.ie Gives Back‘ to mark the occasion.
For every .ie domain registered, renewed or transferred during the campaign, .IE will donate €1 to a charity fund.
At the end of the 25 days, the fund will be shared equally among five charities chosen by the Registry:
- Make-A-Wish Ireland
- UNICEF Ireland
- DSPCA
- An Cosán
- Focus Ireland
The .ie Registry now handle over 330,000 .ie domains, with nearly 80% of people surveyed in independent research saying they prefer to shop online on .ie websites, given the high levels of trust and security it represents.
